Without the NFL this week, Madam Secretary took a hit, falling a hard 30% in the demographic from last weeks premiere.
Week two of Madam Secretary nabbed 12.7 million viewers and 1.4 A18-49 demo. While the total viewership is strong, the low demo has to be of concern, especially only two weeks in to the new season.
Elsewhere, Once Upon a Time scored it’s best numbers since November 2012. 9.4 million and 3.4 A18-49 demo gave the new Frozen-themed season a strong start. Whether or not it holds there remains to be seen.
And in the 10 o’clock battle of CSI and Revenge, CSI dominated it total viewers (9.7 vs. 5.3) while the two tied in the A18-49 demographic (1.4).
Finally, the one hour Simpsons / Family Guy crossover at 9 scored 4.5 A18-49, easily becoming the top rated scripted series on the night. The Simpsons at 8 o’clock did a 3.9 A18-49 demo. The episode featured the death of a character who has been on the show since 1991.
