TNT Scares Up Syndication Rights to “Grimm”

grimmA few weeks before Grimm is set to debut its fourth season, TNT has gained the syndication rights to the series.

TNT will begin airing episodes of Grimm from the first three seasons in early 2015, with season four available in fall 2015.  No word yet on what timeslot it will air in, but Grimm would make a good companion for TNT’s other genre series, Supernatural.

Deborah K. Bradley, senior vice president and head of program acquisition for Tuner Broadcasting System says, “Grimm puts a fresh spin on the traditional crime procedural with an otherworldly premise and compelling storytelling that appeal to young adults.  Grimm will be a great addition to TNT’s lineup as the network continues to expand its reach with high-quality genre programming.”

Through three seasons, NBC has aired 66 episodes of Grimm.  Given NBCUniversal Television owns Grimm, they will likely continue the series for the next few year.
