Statistics:
Total votes: 11

Total upsets (defined as a higher seed defeating a lower seed, e.g. 15 defeating 2): 1
Will and Grace (#3) defeated Seinfeld (#1)

This is the second round in a row that Will & Grace staged an upset.  The comedy previously defeated A Different World (#2).  It is the only show to defeat both a #1 and #2 seed.

Biggest blowout(s):
By a margin of 100% to 0%
Friends (#1) defeated Mad About You (#2)

This is the first time in any tournament that there has been a unanimous decision.

Closet game(s):
By a margin of 55% to 45%
Will & Grace (#3) defeated Seinfeld (#1)

Newest show still remaining:
Will and Grace (#3) (premiered in 1998)

Oldest show still remaining:
Cheers (#1) (premiered in 1982)

Prediction for the Championship Round:
It’ll be a close race between Friends and Frasier, but I think Cheers will easily defeat Will & Grace.  My prediction for the Championship is between Frasier and Cheers (how about that for a final game – spinoff meet the mother show).

Results from the Elite Eight
Friends (100%) vs. Mad About You (0%)

Frasier (64%) vs. Family Ties (36%)

Cheers (73%) vs. Parks and Recreation (27%)

Seinfeld (45%) vs. Will & Grace (55%)
